What makes Bidroom different from other hotel booking websites?

The major hotel booking websites have fixed prices for rooms and take up to 25% commission from hotels, which considerably increases the total price. Bidroom doesn't charge any commission from hotels, enabling them to offer you their best deals with additional discounts on their public prices.

 

Is Bidroom safe to use?

Yes. All requests are processed via a secured web-page. We do not store your payment details permanently on our servers. Read more about our Privacy Policy.

 

Why do I need to log in to see my offers?

Many of the major booking websites don’t allow hotels to offer cheaper prices on other websites. We are able to offer you the best deals because our booking environment is totally private.

 

Can I search for places with specific amenities, such as a swimming pool or free parking?

Sure! You can use the list of filters available to refine your search and receive offers only from the hotels that provide the specific amenities you are looking for.

 

How can I make a special request? For example: a sea view, an extra bed or a champagne bottle?

When you book a hotel you can leave a message with your special request. The hotel will review your message before confirming your booking and get back to you with their answer. We advise calling the hotel prior to arrival to guarantee your request.

 

Becoming Bidroom User

How can I create my account?

In order to start exploring all our offers, you need to become a member. Visa cardholders are entitled to a special deal - 6 month free trial and then 50% discount on annual subscription. Go to sign up and check your cards validity by entering the 16 digit number into the field provided by VISA. The next step is to create your account by providing your name and email address.

 

Why do I need to put my cc details?

We need your CC details for verification purposes. Hotels are able to offer you discounted rates only in this closed, private environment. Therefore we guarantee, you will not be charged before the end of your 6 months free trial period. It is 100% secure.

 

I forgot my password, how can I change it?

To reset your password, please click on the login button in the right top corner of the main page, and click on "Forgot your password?" button below the big orange login box.

 

How do I search for hotels?

In order to search for the hotels you have to be registered. If your account is activated, please go to our main page and search for places you are interested in. Type in where you would like to go, select the dates and number of people.Then simply press ‚Go'.

 

How can I look for places with specific amenities?

You can use the list of filters available to refine your search and receive offers only from the hotels that provide the specific amenities you are looking for.

 

Booking & Payment

How do I know my hotel reservation is confirmed?

When you choose an offer we forward your reservation details to the hotel to confirm the booking. You will receive an email with a confirmation voucher that you can print and take with you when you check in.

 

Can I make a reservation without a credit card?

No. The hotel needs your credit card details in order to secure the reservation.

 

When will I be charged?

Bidroom doesn’t charge you for the booking. If you choose a non-refundable rate, you will be charged when the hotel confirms the reservation. However, if you go for free cancellation you will pay the total amount directly to the hotel upon arrival.

 

Do I need to bring my booking confirmation to check in to the hotel?

It’s always a good idea to bring a printed or digital copy of your booking confirmation, though it’s not required to check in.

 

Cancelling a Booking

How can I cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking any time from your Bidroom profile. Just click on “My bookings” and “Cancel booking”.

 

Can I cancel my booking for free?

Each hotel applies its own cancellation policy which you agreed to when you made your reservation. For example, if you chose a non-refundable rate, the hotel is allowed to charge you a part of or the entire amount of, the reservation made.
